Schiffman family foundation gift to make CSU an all-Steinway school CSU's Schwob School of Music will become an all-Steinway school in August, thanks to a Schiffman Family Foundation gift that will allow the purchase of $2.5 million worth of the pianos. Maxine Schiffman, left, the foundation's matriarch, was present for a June 19 ceremony that celebrated the gift, which is expected to further boost Schwob's reputation for excellence and attract more world-class students.
