Writing Center director, students presenting research; poetry featured Improvement of student writing has been a focused academic goal at Columbus State in recent years, mostly thanks to a new faculty center's efforts to address a defined need. This month, CSU's efforts get some exposure at the International Writing Center Association conference, where Noreen Lape, right, director of CSU's Writing Center, and five students will present research. Also, the association's Web site recently featured Lape and a "bookmark poem" she wrote to help market the CSU center to students needing writing assistance.
